Nearly 18,000 students in Djugu benefit from MONUSCO's 'Safer Schools' protection initiative

Since June 2026, nearly 18,000 students have benefited from security measures implemented by MONUSCO as part of the 'Safer Schools' campaign in collaboration with the FARDC. This initiative has allowed thousands of students to take their exams in secure conditions, despite the insecurity caused by armed groups. Joint patrols and monitoring of routes taken by students contribute to maintaining school attendance and improving study conditions.
