Move beyond condemnation and stop further killings, NBA tells Taraba government

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Jalingo Branch, condemned the reported killing of residents of Binnari community in Karim-Lamido local government area after armed men attacked on Friday. In a statement issued Sunday and signed by branch chairman Dr. D. P. Saredau, it urged the Taraba government and security agencies to deploy personnel to vulnerable communities, investigate the killings and arrest those responsible. The NBA also called for prosecution and sustained security operations, while urging residents to cooperate with lawful operations and avoid reprisals or collective blame.
