Don't destroy Abia with hate speeches - NUJ tells politicians

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abia State Council, urged politicians and their supporters to refrain from hate speech and inflammatory statements during its monthly congress in Umuahia. The NUJ expressed concerns over the infiltration of criminal elements in some communities and called on security agencies to enhance surveillance. Additionally, the journalists commended the Abia State Government for commencing the payment of gratuities to pensioners while calling for the sustainability of these payments.
