From Buildings to Banks, Electronic Security Gains Ground in Ivory Coast

In Abidjan, banks, office buildings, and shopping centers are gradually adopting electronic access control systems such as badges, wireless readers, and electronic keys to enhance traceability and security. The Ivorian Group of Electronic Security Professionals (GIPSE) held a meeting to showcase new technologies, including battery-free electronic keys that manage access rights and track usage history. These innovations simplify access management, especially during occupant changes or key losses, and prevent the need to replace entire mechanical systems.
