Niger Republic: Nigeria won’t support military Coup — Minister

The Federal Government of Nigeria dismissed claims that it supported the recent failed military coup attempt in Niger. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sola Enikanolaiye, described these claims as false and irresponsible, stating that Nigeria would never support military coups or unconstitutional changes of government.
