Potou Accident: Victims Identified as Babacar Diop and His Friend Dame Mbodj

A fatal accident occurred on Monday evening on the Potou–Saint-Louis road, involving a private vehicle and a Jakarta motorcycle. The victims, Babacar Diop, an Arabic language teacher, and his friend Dame Mbodj, both from the Léona commune, lost their lives. Babacar Diop died instantly, while Dame Mbodj, seriously injured, succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted to the Potou health center. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the collision.
