The hearing challenging Tidjane Thiam’s re-election as president of the PDCI-RDA has been postponed from October 22 to November 19. The delay will allow three proceedings to be combined and give the defence time to respond to new summonses. Two party members are seeking to overturn the resolutions of the 2025 extraordinary congress and appoint an interim president, while a third proceeding seeks to bring Thiam into a legal action against the party. PDCI vice-president Georges Philippe Ezaley is also concerned by that proceeding.
