President Bassirou Diomaye Faye Welcomes Six New Ambassadors to Senegal

President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye received six new ambassadors at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, as they presented their credentials. They were Deirdre Clancy of Ireland, Aude Blandine Géraldine Maio-Coliche of the European Union, Mohamed Safwat Ramadan Atta of Egypt, Sharon Armstrong of Canada, Antonio Eugidio de Sousa Santos of Angola, and Turki Ben Muhammad Al Damir Al Qahtani of Saudi Arabia. Faye wished them a fruitful stay in Dakar and said Senegalese authorities were available to support them in carrying out their duties.
