2027: Tinubu is a thousand years wiser than the opposition, says Atiku’s former ally Showunmi

Segun Showunmi, a former ally of ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, predicted that President Bola Tinubu would defeat his opponents in the 2027 election. Speaking in Abuja, he defended Tinubu’s decision not to attend every campaign rally, saying the president should focus on governing and that his broad name recognition allows for a more efficient campaign. Showunmi said Tinubu would rely on science, technology and polling-unit structures, with governors in charge. He dismissed campaign rallies as noisy street events with little meaningful impact.
