Case 'Diamond Eater': The Medical Order Draws Lessons and Now Prohibits Consultation Campaigns by Foreign Doctors

The National Order of Doctors of Cameroon has decided to prohibit consultation campaigns organized by foreign doctors, stating that there are sufficient local medical competencies. The president of the Order, Dr. Rodolphe Fonkoua, specified that this decision follows the 'Diamond Eater' case, which highlighted illegal medical practices. However, the Order remains open to specialized missions that promote the transfer of skills to Cameroonian doctors.
