The renewed fighting may be linked to FRN reinforcements of fighters and ammunition from Nyabiondo, reported in Kasopo that morning.

Kim called for “absolute superiority” in drone capabilities and faster development of military artificial intelligence; Pyongyang claims its drones achieved 100% accuracy. The demonstration also featured a simultaneous salvo of more than ten rockets from the 600 mm Sniper multiple-launch system and around ten ballistic missiles fired from Wonsan toward the East Sea, traveling about 250 kilometers. The drills took place amid tensions over Freedom Edge exercises involving South Korea, Japan and the United States.
