Rescue efforts continue as Nepal-China flood death toll surpasses 1,270

Rescue teams in Nepal are working tirelessly to reach workers trapped in hydropower facilities following devastating floods. More than 1,270 people have been killed, and over 4,700 are still missing. Nepalese authorities have recovered 1,252 bodies, while 4,216 people remain unaccounted for. In neighboring Tibet, 21 deaths have been reported, with 541 people missing.
