Macky Sall’s Return: Mansour Faye Speaks Out, Ousmane Sonko Targeted

Mansour Faye, a former minister and APR official, accused the president of the National Assembly of contributing to Senegal’s economic paralysis after the 2026 supplementary budget was rejected and uncertainty grew around the 2027 initial budget. He also criticized officials’ participation in Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games activities, calling it indecent while people face economic and social hardship. Saying the current government is in the “final stretch” of its term, he called on Macky Sall to return and said the people were calling for him.
