CAN 2025: Senegal's Appeal to the CAS on October 8

Senegal is contesting the CAF's decision to declare them forfeited in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco, awarding Morocco a 3-0 victory. The final, held on January 18 in Rabat, saw Senegalese players leave the field for over fifteen minutes protesting a penalty awarded to Morocco, before returning and winning 1-0 after extra time. The Senegalese federation's appeal will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on October 8 in Lausanne, behind closed doors and in French, with Senegalese and Moroccan federations present and CAF represented by its lawyers.
