Kaduna rally: Atiku challenges Tinubu over hunger and hardship

At a rally in Kaduna, former vice-president and ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar challenged President Bola Tinubu to account for hunger and poverty after Tinubu blamed the opposition for the problems. Atiku cited the removal of the petrol subsidy, the naira’s depreciation and a World Bank estimate that 63% of Nigerians would be below the national poverty line in 2026. On benefits Ortom reportedly said he had been denied, including a house in Abuja or elsewhere, Tarzoor said he knew of no law providing for them.
