Nigeria: Many Fulani killed over suspicions of collusion with jihadists

Self-defense militias in Nigeria have recently killed around 700 Fulani herders, accusing them of collusion with jihadists. These attacks, carried out in Niger State, have been exacerbated by land control conflicts between herders and farmers. The militias, mainly composed of Kambari and Bargawa farmers, have raided Fulani camps, leading to potential reprisals from herders fleeing to Kebbi.
