Kano Pillars Coach Ogunmodede urges universities to introduce football club internships

Daniel Ogunmodede, the Technical Adviser of Kano Pillars, urged universities to encourage students, especially those studying Physical Education and Sports Management, to gain practical experience through internships with football clubs. Speaking at the 54th National Conference of the Nigeria Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance, he emphasized the need to equip athletes with skills for a productive career after retirement. Professor Faruk Rashid Haruna supported this initiative, calling for stronger partnerships between universities and football clubs.
