Gunmen abduct two passengers after blocking Plateau highway

Two passengers were abducted by gunmen after the assailants blocked the Bokkos–Barkin Ladi road in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident occurred around 8:40 PM on Friday, prompting troops from Operation Enduring Peace to be deployed following a distress call. Although a search operation was launched, no contact was made with the kidnappers during the initial effort.
