Cancer: Zézépagnon slows cancer cells from the colon, breast and prostate

Laboratory tests presented in Abidjan on October 14, 2026, by Burkinabè biochemist Richard Sawadogo indicate that Zézépagnon extracts reduce the survival of colon, breast and prostate cancer cells. The concentration that halved colon-cell viability was 56.11 micrograms per millilitre, compared with 70.10 for breast cells; prostate-cell viability fell by more than 50% at 50 micrograms per millilitre. The researchers observed no toxicity in the normal cells tested, and no acute toxicity or deaths among mice monitored for 14 days after receiving a dose of 2,000 milligrams per kilogram.
