The National Paralympic Committee Calls for Mobilization to Promote Inclusion of Athletes with Disabilities

The Congolese National Paralympic Committee called on authorities to strengthen support for athletes with disabilities to participate in competitions in 2026 and 2027. During a press conference in Kinshasa, they requested the president's involvement to accelerate the mobilization of financial, logistical, and administrative resources. Four key sporting events were identified, including the Congolese Paralympic Games, the African Deaf Football Cup, IBSA competitions in Gaborone, and wheelchair basketball, emphasizing the need for increased support for these athletes.
