Todd Boehly officially leaves Chelsea

Todd Boehly, Mark Walter, and Hansjorg Wyss have sold their 12.8% shares in Chelsea to Clearlake Capital, which now has full control of the club. Boehly will no longer serve as Chelsea chairman, a role he held since 2022 when the club was purchased for £2.3 billion. He expressed confidence that Chelsea is well positioned for continued success under Clearlake's leadership.
