Scammers are posing as mobile phone agents to obtain validation codes and access electronic wallets. Several testimonies in Benin reveal that these individuals contact users, citing account issues or necessary updates. An internet user, Gaël Ferréol, shared his experience of receiving a call from a supposed agent asking for a code, which he refused to provide after verifying the situation with his operator.
