China-South Africa partnerships expand across trade, energy and culture

A friendship agreement was signed between Shandong's Mount Tai and Cape Town's Table Mountain. The long-standing relationships between the Western Cape and Shandong, as well as the ties between Cape Town and cities like Hangzhou, Wuhan, and Shenzhen, promote exchanges. In August, the Premiers of the Western and Eastern Cape provinces led delegations to China to discuss energy cooperation, while the Cape Town City Manager will travel to Wuhan for the International Friendship Cities Conference.
