Eight months after, Edo govt explains how Gov Okpebholo’s aide died

The Edo State Government explained how Alhaji Danjuma Garba, the Special Adviser on Arewa Matters to Governor Monday Okpebholo, died. Dr Andrew Iyamu stated that his death was caused by treatment from a final-year medical student at a private hospital in Uselu, Benin City, who was managing him contrary to medical regulations. The student, considered the family’s doctor for several years, was released by the family despite the severity of the condition. The death resulted from inadequate treatment that caused irreversible heart damage.
