2027: Provide level playing ground for all political parties, - Otti orders security agencies

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has instructed security agencies to ensure a level playing field for all political parties to conduct their campaigns legally. During the monthly Security Council Meeting, he emphasized that any party requesting approval to campaign should be granted immediate approval. The Police Commissioner and the Governor’s Security Adviser confirmed their readiness for peaceful elections in 2027, stating that political activities will be permitted without hindrance as long as the required fees are paid, and warned that law will be enforced against any acts threatening public peace.
