Jordan arrests three suspects over church attack in dawn raid

Jordanian security forces arrested three Jordanian suspects on Monday in connection with Friday’s attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Karak governorate. At least eight people were killed and more than two dozen wounded in the attack, which authorities blamed on “extremist terrorists.” The suspects were found in an abandoned house in the village of al-Jadeeda and resisted security forces before being taken into custody with severe injuries; one was critically injured. Firearms and ammunition were recovered at the hideout.
