Doctor Khumalo says football’s needs will guide his new Safa role

Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo has been appointed vice-chairperson of Safa’s technical committee by president Danny Jordaan. Khumalo says the role is not about him personally but about contributing to the development of South African football. Working with committee chair Jack Maluleke, he will help appoint national team coaches, implement training methods and review team performances. Technical director Molefi Ntseki reports to the committee and directly manages coaches, including recently appointed Bafana Bafana tactician Pitso Mosimane.
