Football: Koumassi Racing Club becomes Magic System FC

Kouamassi Racing Club (RCK) was renamed Magic System FC following its acquisition by Salif Traoré, known as A’Salfo, on October 1, 2026. A’Salfo, who is also the president of the club’s board, stated that the name change reflects the new management’s ambitions and a new identity aimed at strengthening ties with Koumassi and aligning with the values of the Magic System group. The club, competing in the third division, will focus on youth development through the Magic System Academy, with French coach Denis Goavec and sports director Gérard Russo leading the project.
