NTEL is betting on WakaGo, its global eSIM service, to give Nigerian travellers mobile data in supported countries without replacing their primary SIM or paying high roaming charges. Chief Technology Officer Kingsley Uwazie said the service is among the products NTEL has launched as it works to reconnect Nigerians and restore its mobile network. NTEL’s BET strategy—Beam, Eden and Titan—aims to earn revenue from digital services, real estate and telecom infrastructure to fund network rebuilding. The company is restoring towers and leasing some fibre and connectivity assets to other operators.
