2027: Peter Obi hopes Tinubu will visit the remaining 33 states after his ‘presidential sleep’ in Akwa Ibom

After spending the night in Akwa Ibom State, President Bola Tinubu said at an APC campaign rally in Uyo that he would have a “second term presidential sleep” there. Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate, congratulated him on X and urged him to visit Nigeria’s remaining 33 states and engage directly with residents. Obi also called on Tinubu to explain how the government used the 15.8 trillion naira saved from removing the fuel subsidy, the more than $100 billion borrowed, and increased tax and other government revenues.
