Strike in universities: government announces new payments, but debt remains at 9.9 billion

The Cameroonian government announced the payment of 1.76 billion FCFA for the first quarter and has committed 4.91 billion FCFA for the second quarter as part of the reduction of academic debt. The total debt amounts to 16.95 billion FCFA, with a clearance rate of 43%. Jacques Fame Ndongo urged researchers to maintain a peaceful atmosphere and to continue university activities normally.
