At least 50 youths in Lagos State have been trained to identify fake news and misleading content during a three-day workshop organized by Naija Collective. This initiative addresses growing concerns over online misinformation, with 75% of internet users in Nigeria frequently encountering fake news. Participants learned to evaluate the credibility of information using the CRAAP framework, which examines relevance, authority, and accuracy of sources.
