Forced towing of a taxi in Abidjan: CARD company operated without authorization, its owner heard by police

The General Directorate of Land Transport and Traffic (DGTTC) confirmed that the towing company CARD, operating without official authorization or transport permits, was involved in an illegal towing of a taxi in Abidjan. The company's manager is currently being questioned by police, while the taxi owner has filed a complaint for private property destruction. Authorities ordered the immediate immobilization of CARD's vehicles until their administrative situation is regularized, and a meeting is scheduled to better regulate the towing sector.
