WCED warns of fake exam assistant and teaching job adverts

The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) is warning about fake recruitment adverts circulating on social media and unauthorised websites. The WCED also identified fraudulent teaching vacancies at schools that did not advertise the posts and have no such openings. Platforms named include “SA Teachers” and “Examination Assistant Job”; the department urged candidates to guard against fraud and identity theft.
