Ogun rules out return of monthly environmental sanitation

The Ogun State Government has ruled out the re-introduction of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise, opting instead to invest in waste management equipment. Governor Dapo Abiodun stated that the state has outgrown this need since it was scrapped six years ago. Instead, compactors and other equipment will be purchased to enhance daily waste collection by OGWAMA.
