The Federal Government of Nigeria plans to establish six world-class medical simulation centres across the country's six geopolitical zones to enhance practical training for healthcare professionals. Education Minister Dr. Tunji Alausa noted a significant rise in health program enrollments, with nursing students increasing to over 120,000 and medical school admissions nearing 12,000. The goal is to reach 20,000 annual medical student admissions within the next three years, highlighting the urgent need for modern training facilities.
