KZN Health says medicine disruptions are being managed across hospitals

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health is actively managing medication supply challenges caused by global pressures. Despite logistical issues, patient care remains the priority. Medications such as Phenobarbital and Rifampicin have been reported as out of stock, while conflicts in the Middle East are affecting the receipt of certain pharmaceuticals.
