Banditry, kidnapping could trigger national security crisis - PRP warns

The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) warned that the rising cases of banditry and kidnapping in the North-Central and North-West regions could lead to a national security crisis if urgent measures are not taken. The PRP accused the government of failing to adequately protect citizens, describing this situation as worrying and unacceptable. The party also called for an independent investigation into the deaths of 37 miners in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Minna, Niger State.
