A clandestine soap factory unit was dismantled in Bouaké, in the Belle Ville 2 neighborhood, after a control operation conducted by the Regional Directorate of Commerce and Industry. The agents discovered an artisanal installation operating in the heart of a residential area, without respecting several regulatory requirements related to safety, hygiene, and environmental protection. The presence of caustic soda near children was considered particularly worrying.
