A former prefect joins the MRC and affirms his political choice

Jean Marie Tchakui Noundie, former prefect of Kupé-Manengouba, publicly joined the MRC during a meeting in his hometown of Batchieu. A supporter of the party since 2023 after retiring, he stated his intention to contribute positively to the opposition, despite having previously banned MRC meetings in 2016 when he was sub-prefect in Douala. His career includes roles as sub-prefect in Douala and a promotion to prefect in 2019.
