« A Lion, even if he has only one leg, you don't mess with him »: Idrissou's message to Ivorians

Mohammadou Idrissou praised the Cameroon national team after their 1-0 victory over Ivory Coast, emphasizing the team's resilience. He stated that playing against Ivory Coast is always challenging for Cameroon, likening the team to a lion even with one leg. Idrissou defended the players against expectations and congratulated FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto’o. The win prompted some Ivorian supporters to call for Emerse Fae to replace Hervé Renard as coach.
