A lot of hope for an opposition union

Simone Gbagbo expressed optimism about an opposition union following a meeting at the PPA-CI headquarters in Abidjan. She emphasized the importance of harmonizing the positions of different parties on electoral reform and the establishment of a new body to replace the Independent Electoral Commission. Assalé Tiémoko, president of the ADCI, also mentioned the need for dialogue to create a trustworthy electoral framework.
