A manhunt caught on film: DIC investigators finally arrest Aliou Coulibaly, aka “Prof”

Aliou Coulibaly, 27, known as “Prof,” was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division and referred to the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor’s office on charges of criminal conspiracy and robbery with violence by a group. The case follows a complaint filed on July 20, 2026, by H. Sow, who was attacked three days earlier near Tivaouane Peulh Apix by four people riding two motorcycles. The attackers stole a bag containing 9 million CFA francs and a Samsung phone. Coulibaly denied the allegations but was identified by the victim in a face-to-face identification; investigators are still looking for the other suspects.
