A passenger gives birth mid-flight between Lubumbashi and Kinshasa

On April 26, a 30-year-old woman gave birth mid-flight on a CAA flight from Lubumbashi to Kinshasa, approximately 45 minutes before landing. Four doctors, including a pediatrician, were on board and assisted the mother, who delivered alone in her seat. The birth occurred while the plane was flying over Angolan territory, and an ambulance was arranged for their arrival in Kinshasa to take care of the mother and newborn.
