A septuagenarian and her daughter drown in Algeciras, a survivor between life and death: the unfolding of the tragedy

Two women, aged 71 and 43, drowned after their car fell into the port of Algeciras. Four people, all Moroccan, were in an Audi A4 when the vehicle took an unexpected direction, plunging into the harbor basin. Two men managed to escape, but the mother and daughter could not be rescued despite a large-scale rescue operation involving multiple services. This accident occurs during the peak season of traffic between Spain and Morocco.
