A woman kills her co-wife with a pestle - Lebledparle

On September 27, 2026, at around 4:05 PM in Bauchi, Hauwa’u Haruna, the second wife, struck her co-wife Jamila Adamu with a pestle on the forehead, causing her to lose consciousness. Jamila was taken to the Specialist Hospital in Bauchi, where her death was confirmed. Hauwa’u Haruna was arrested, the pestle was recovered as evidence, and initial investigations suggest she acted while experiencing hallucinations. The case has been transferred to the SCID for further investigation and legal proceedings.
