A Yemeni family fled their home on the Red Sea coast after large numbers of government soldiers withdrew from their positions near al-Khokha, between Hodeidah and Mocha. Saeed Hassan, 58, decided to leave after witnessing the troop and equipment withdrawal, which was confirmed by videos from his sons. During this time, a missile hit a displaced persons camp, injuring several, and Mohammed’s son Shaker narrowly escaped death from another explosion. The Houthi offensive, backed by Iran, targeted government-held areas in Hodeidah and Taiz.
