Students of Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba-Akoko protested on Thursday by blocking major highways due to the state government's failure to address a strike that has lasted for 68 days. Led by the Students' Union Government, they demanded an immediate resolution to the issues causing the strike and the reopening of the university. SUG President Comrade Folagbade Greatness Ayoola stated that students could no longer remain silent over the prolonged closure of the institution.
