Abdoulaye Fall vs Babacar Ndiaye, the power struggle shaking Senegalese football

Abdoulaye Fall, president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), and Babacar Ndiaye, president of the professional league, are in conflict following the decision to postpone the start of the Senegalese championship. The FSF announced a new start date of October 17, which was condemned by the league, causing tension at the top of Senegalese football. Both leaders, currently with the national team during the international break, are at odds as Senegal prepares for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the debut of new coach Patrick Vieira.
