Abductors of 15 worshippers in Ekiti demand N1bn ransom

The Eleda of Eda-Oniyo, Oba Joseph Awolola, stated that the abductors of 15 worshippers from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Ilejemeje, Ekiti, have demanded a ransom of N1 billion for their release. Among those kidnapped is a family of four, including a mother and her three children, who were taken during a night vigil. The Ekiti government condemned the attack and deployed a security delegation to coordinate rescue operations.
